Employers are desperately looking for employees that possess good soft skills like time management, decision making, personal accountability, and office etiquette. They don’t have the time to teach these skills once a person joins their company. As a result, there is high turnover of young people entering the workforce during their first year of employment.
Now schools have an opportunity to fill that void and meet this need through the Next Step subscription program.
The Next Step program is part of the larger IDEALS Foundation for high school students. Due to its success and popularity, the Georgia Dept. of Education requested IDEALS to develop a proprietary soft skills program for high school students.
