Frequently Asked Questions

How do we access material?

In Georgia, schools will be sent instructions how to access the content on the Georgia DOE website.

Schools outside of Georgia can access the content by logging in and clicking the Classes menu link.

Can we split the video module into two sessions if we don’t have a 50 minute slot available?

Yes. Schools have two options. A video module can be completed over two class periods by showing the video and stopping to do exercises as scheduled and go as far as time allows. Then pick up where you stopped the following day. Second, a school can watch the video in its entirely the first day and then start working on exercises.

Can teachers elect to teach the program instead of using the video modules?

Yes, with the exception of the “I Believe” module. Teacher guides are provided on the website along with power points for each module.

Do students receive anything for completion of the program?

Yes, IDEALS will provide a template for a certificate that can be personalized for each school and student.

Is there an end of program assessment tool to test student comprehension and application of content?
